ISKCON Madikeri, Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra on 28th JAN 2012.

Dear Devotees,


Please accept our humble obeisances, All glories to srila prabhupad, All glories to sri guru and gauranga ,
 
ISKCON MADIKERI wud be Celebrating the fifth consecutive Annual Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra Festival on Saturday the 28th of January 2012.

HH Bhakti Vinoda Swami Maharaja and HG Shankhadhari prabhu would be gracing the festival.
For all those who have not been to Madikeri before, I would like to mention that its a Hill station resort for most tourists in South India, as well as from all over India and abroad.
It is situated at the source of river Cauvery in the valleys and mountains. Climatic conditions wud be good around this time of the year(some chill in the night time) and have plenty of fresh Oxygen to breath in.

The Rath Yatra on 28th Jan will begin at 3pm and end at gandhi maidan at 7pm.
There wud be Cultural programs and Lord Jagannath Lila narrations by Maharaja and other senior devotees.
On 29th Sunday We have planned an early morning(6AM)visit to Tala Cauvery(the source of river Cauvery)for holy dip and Srimad Bhagavatam class  and Prasadam.



Since 26th January(Thursday) is a National holiday, so most tourists will take the Friday off and stay on for the weekend in Madikeri.
So we request U all to please inform us by this weekend of ur travel plans, so as to arrange accomodation for all visiting devotees.

ISKCON in MAdikeri is recently being Blessed with land for a project, so we humbly request all devotees and well wishers to come and sanctify the land with MAHA SANKIRTAN, so that we can very soon have a project in the land of COORG- The Scotland of India also known for AGHASTYA MUNI TAPASYA STHALA.For Further information please feel free to contact HG Sudhir Caitanya prabhu - 09448351360
