  Mayapur Online Education  - Message from HG Vidvan gauranga prabhu (submitted by HG Sudhir caitanya prabhu)

  We are writing to inform you of a new initiative taken up ISKCON Mayapur--Mayapur Online Education--to conduct online courses on the primary books of Srila Prabhupada-- Bhagavad- gita As It Is, Srimad-Bhagavatam and Caitanya-caritamrit a.  This educational project is conducted under the guidance and supervision of ISKCON Mayapur’s Educational Divisional Heads HH Bhakti Purusottama Maharaja and HG Sankarsana Nitai Prabhu. 

By 1 February 2010, two online courses will be launched: 1. Basic Study of Bhagavad-Gita 2. Basic Study of First Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam  These courses involve the students in a scrutinizing study of Srila Prabhupada's purports. They will be self-paced and registration will be open throughout the year. We are also preparing to launch other online courses such as advanced studies of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, as well as Sanskrit. 

Satisfactory performance in the courses will result in the students receiving certificates of successful completion issued by ISKCON Mayapur's Educational Divisional Heads.  If you need more information, you can visit http://courses. mayapur.com

A water management professional visited ISKCON Delhi Temple. He mentioned about the future water problems coming our way especially in India and China.

And according to modern scientists they are trying to find a solution to this major worldwide difficulty. Then, His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj

arrived at the scene. Maharaj met this water management professional and sympathized with this current problem.Thereafter, Maharaj preached to him about this problem and the solution in the Bhagavat Gita. Further elaborating that Grains come from Rains; and Rains come from Sacrifice. The real solution is to follow the Bhagavat Gita. The water management professional got convinced and immediately ordered four thousand Bhagavad-Gitas.
